is one of my personal favorites. It's deeper sound is a nice
balance between am F-Sharp and the Bass of a D flute. This is
a traditional pentatonic tuning for an E flute featuring a 1"
bore. Many flute makers choose a 7/8" bore for their E
flutes. I think the tone and volume have a better balance in
the 1" bore. For an alternative tuning, be sure to check
out the E-Special tuning flutes too.
